President, Jackie McCafferty called the meeting to order. She gave out the awards of the Club Championship of the 2011 golf season.

President-elect, Cookie O’Rourke gave out ringer awards.
Secretary and Treasurer’s reports were read and accepted.
Committee Reports
Tournament Chair, Katie Wauters, stated that tournament instructions will be continued to be given out via e-mail. She also asked for any suggestions or deletions to be addressed to her via e-mail.
Rules Committee, Anne Benedict asked that any problems with a rule during a tournament should be sent to her in writing.
Carol Smith would like to change the rules for ties for the club championship. This issue will be discussed at a later date.
Breakfast Chair, Diane Haviland informed everyone that any replies sent to her about the opening breakfast will always be responded to.
Luncheon Chair, Dot Rodrick reported that 49 girls attended this fall luncheon.
Nominating Chair, Marie Cronin-Hull reported that the votes for the new officers were being counted at this time. Results to follow.
Interclub Chair, Dot Rodrick thanked the girls who participated in interclub this year.
Web Master Chair, Ann Capelli asked that any corrections or any incorrect spelling be addressed to her.
Sue DeLisa read the results of the ballots for the new by-laws that were voted on over the past few weeks.

Sue Delisa reported the results of the voting for the new officers for the next two years. There were 50 votes cast, 48 were legal and 2 were rejected.

Minutes from the Opening Breakfast Meeting April 21, 2011
Jackie welcomed everyone to the Lakewood Ladies League 2011 opening breakfast. Ann Capelli will serve as the welcoming committee for all the new girls in the league this year (12) helping them with any questions or concerns they may have.
.Jackie went over some of the changes this year. Starting time will be 8:00 a.m. and everyone must ride. Handicapping will be updated the 1st and 15th of the month. Jackie explained the rule for the 12th hole. If your shot goes into the hill you must decide immediately whether you will play it where it lies or declare it unplayable and take it to the drop area at the top counting the strokes you have taken so far.
Cookie addressed hostessing changes:
1. The 1st group will pull the tags for pairings for the following week when they have finished play.
2. You must pay as a group
3. Keep your foursome moving – if you are slow let the group behind you through
4. No ties for lowest putts. You must win it outright.
Katie Wauters explained the Tournament today. Scores for even holes minus 50% of your handicap.
. Dot Rodrick talked about interclub. We currently have enough members signed up for interclub, so there will be no new participants this year.
.The Myrn Bone will be played on June 14th at Bella Vista – no information yet on the cost.
.Ann Capelli, Marie Cronin-Hull, Beth Hilliard and Joann Dunst worked over the winter to update the By Laws. They will be sent to everyone via email in the next couple of days. You will be asked to vote on the changes. Marie explained the process.
.Anne Benedict and Carol Smith are in charge of Rules and Procedures. Any questions concerning a rule or procedure during championship play must be submitted in writing.
