Happy Holiday to all this season of 2022!
Thank you so much Kathy & John BG for hosting a lovely Christmas party in their home this week.
We were able to gather 11 members together and we even saw Trish T, former member, who will be coming back in the spring.
She stopped in just to say hello.l
Kathy and John provided a lovely appetizer course and then a buffet lunch that was delicious.
See the buffalo chicken dip below!
And once again a special thank you to Gerri for bringing her partner Chris’s spectacular cookie wreath dessert.
( that disappeared fairly quickly)
We were amazed to see Kathy’s personal herd of deer come by for photos!
We watched a dozen deer eat and gambol about in their backyard, with the view of the lake. It was so special.
Next we had our gift exchange around their Christmas tree, and everyone went home after that, just delighted.
Again, thank you Kathy and John
(the best bartender who was running drinks to us the whole time)
Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah to all!
…………………………..
Buffalo Chicken Dip
8 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup Franks Hot Sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
Shredded chicken (yesterday I used (most of) a 1/2 rotisserie turkey breast)
Mix ranch dressing, hot sauce and cream cheese in a baking dish, add mozzarella and chicken. Mix thoroughly
Heat oven to 375 degrees and bake 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through.
Serve with Frito Scoops, crackers etc
Enjoy
